HLN’s S.E. Cupp hit hard at the Trump administration over the Russian sanctions debacle that led to U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley and new advisor Larry Kudlow disagreeing publicly.
As was covered here, the White House had told many in the administration and out that further Russian sanctions would be forthcoming on Monday, which is what Haley alluded to over the weekend. When the White House backed off and no new sanctions were announced, Kudlow and the White House via Sarah Sanders decided to throw Haley under the bus saying she was “confused.” Kudlow ultimately called the ambassador to apologize.
Cupp, fed up with the White House’s treatment of Haley, called the move embarrassing and sexist.
Finally, Cupp said, “I for one hope Nikki Haley is looking to run for president in the near future. It would be nice to have someone with balls in the White House.”
