President Trump Goes Ballistic on Reporters Over Confederacy

President Trump held a press conference at Trump Tower during his first trip back since becoming president. Of course, reporters immediately started peppering the president over his previous comments about the violence in Charlottesville and it quickly devolved from there.

A combative Trump went on to invoke George Washington’s status as a slave-owner in Virginia.

Never one to not be divisive, the president reiterated his comments from last week by pointing out the violence in Charlottesville was coming from both sides, between white supremacist rally-goers and those protesting it.

Once again, Trump seems unable to recognize that there is an appropriate time to call out Leftist violence, like the Antifa movement, but in the wake of the death of Heather Heyer after a Neo-Nazi terrorist drove into a group of protesters.
