CNN watchers in the Boston-area got a lot more than they bargained for on Thanksgiving. Anyone hoping to watch the latest episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown were surprised to find the station airing hardcore porn for thirty minutes of the hour long show.
Of course, many were bemused and took to social media to announce the situation.

The mishap was limited to Boston, where CNN is broadcast via RCN, a local television provider, and was not the fault of CNN. It also, fortunately, did not occur until 11 p.m. ET, where viewers like were treated to images like this:

Who, indeed. If the person wasn’t already fired, they no doubt will be now.
Ed. UPDATE: It turns out that CNN did not air porn during the time stated. Please note, however, RedState approved the story to be published because, at the time, CNN did confirm it had happened. Please note as well, RedState made clear it was RCN, and not CNN, who supposedly aired the content. CNN’s statement said:
“The RCN cable operator in Boston aired inappropriate content for 30 minutes on CNN last night,” the network said in their original statement. “CNN has asked for an explanation.”
