Must See: Killer Video of What a Socialist Future Might Look Like

We see the socialists doing what they can to appeal to the young.

Choose us, and we will ensure that you have Medicare, a job, and housing.

Never mind that they won't tell you how they will achieve that. Nor will they tell you any of the history of the evils associated with socialism and Communism, including the millions who have suffered and/or died as a result.

The reason that people fled Cuba on rickety rafts, or put themselves at risk to scale the wall in East Berlin, was because they were willing to risk their lives to be free from the oppression they were living under. As I wrote earlier, CNN anchor Boris Sanchez's grandfather put his life at great risk to speak out against the Castro regime and was given a 20-year sentence. Sanchez explained that to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) co-chair Ashik Siddique, and he didn't know how to respond.

Some don't know the consequences of what these characters are pushing.

Independent Women's Voice (IWV) put out a great video showing what a DSA future might look like, to help educate those people. A young woman, Mya, is listening to some of the typical slogans on her phone: "Housing is a human right!" "People over profit!" "Workers deserve more!" "Defund the police!" Then she is transported to that future she thinks she wants. "Wouldn't it be cool to see what the future actually might look like?" IWV asks, then proceeds to a Back to the Future-type look.

There's free housing - just not where anyone would want to live.

There's no waste, but then she can't get that oat milk latte; all she can get is black coffee.

Mya gets a coupon for groceries - but she's not going to be able to get enough to live on with that coupon. "The future is also a little bit expensive," her guide explains.

The empty shelves are right on target.

This is not imaginary. Actually, the portrayal is a bit kind. But people who lived through the Soviet Union will tell you how bleak things were.

The girl wants to call the police when someone steals some of the little that remains. But the police no longer exist. Mya is scolded to "have some compassion" by her guide.

Healthcare is free; Mya only has to wait 72 days. But if it's an emergency, then it's only two weeks.

"But, Mya, this is the future you wanted," the guide says. "Isn't it wonderful?"

"Take me back!" she screams. She lands back home safely in bed and rips the DSA poster off her door.

Killer end line: "Beware of the gap between promises and reality."

There's what the socialists say. Then there are the years of results we have seen that are horrible, and no one would ever want. And this was just a small sample of the bad things that would come. They didn't even hit on the political repression that would come.

Exaggeration? Just ask anyone old person from:

the Polish People's Republic

the German Democratic Republic

the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic,

the Hungarian People's Republic

the People's Republic of Romania

the People's Republic of Bulgaria or

the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics

A water vending machine in Poland. Two glasses chained to a faucet with a coin slot to insert your złoty. We Americans stood their dumbfounded in 1979.

After you show anyone deluded by socialism or Communism the IWV video, show them this video of Boris Yeltsin's trip to the American grocery store in Texas in 1989. It's one of the things that helped lead to the fall of the Soviet Union.

Editor's Note: The Democrat Party has been infected by socialism, and it's spreading FAST. Democrats are claiming there's nothing to worry about, but we know the truth.
