Newsom's Epic Crashout As He Panics and Implodes in Backlash Over GA Remarks

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has just started his book tour.

But as we're seeing, it has been so awful with unforced errors, it just might be the end of his presidential aspirations because he's exposed Americans to just how lacking he is.

In addition to not knowing what "historical illiteracy" was, and claiming he lost his birth certificate when he was seven and wouldn't know how to get it back (so how does he have a passport?), Newsom is now being accused of racism for his statements on his Atlanta book tour stop. Over 20 million people have now viewed a clip of him talking with the black mayor of Atlanta, Andre Dickens, in which he says, "I'm just like you," then goes on to say that he has a 960 SAT and can't read a speech.

So instead of apologizing or backing away from the comment, Newsom continued to melt down, screaming and cursing out Sean Hannity on X for noticing the issue. Can we say panic, thy name is Newsom?

You didn’t give a s*** about the President of the United States of America posting an ape video of President Obama or calling African nations s***holes — but you’re going to call me racist for talking about my lifelong struggle with dyslexia? Spare me your fake f***ing outrage, Sean.

So, first, President Donald Trump's aide posted a video about election rigging that accidentally grabbed a part of another video, which had various memes riffed off The Lion King. Instead of apologizing or explaining his own gaffe, Gavin latched on to that video and went right to "Trump attack whataboutism," as though that could excuse what he said himself.

Plus, the problem wasn't Newsom talking about dyslexia or saying that dyslexics can't read. It was appearing to tell a black man that Newsom was just like him, seeing as he had a bad SAT score and was unable to read prepared remarks. Newsom even slowed down his speech when talking to Dickens, what the heck? And is he using his dyslexia now to try to escape from the racism charge? Dyslexia doesn't equate to racism either. It's not a cover for when you say problematic things.

All this leaves a very bad taste in people's mouths about whether Newsom could even do the job, not because he's dyslexic, but because he seems so lacking otherwise. And then his response to Hannity is crazy. No, it doesn't look good to freak out and curse. Newsom doesn't seem to be able to deal with basic questioning. He just made everything worse with the response to Hannity. He probably thinks that will make him look tough to the left. But it makes him look unhinged to everyone else, and now he's elevated the issue to many more people by attacking Hannity.

Just a thought…..

I don't think Newsom is going to make it to 2028; he's already imploding badly. At this point, he should heed the words of his son, whom the governor says doesn't want him to run.
