Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) did not do well at the Munich Security Conference.
She made news, but all the wrong kind of news, with things like delivering a world salad answer on Taiwan and claiming President Donald Trump wanted to attack Venezuela because it was below the Equator. Hint, AOC? It isn't.
It was safe to say that she didn't prove her foreign policy chops. The funny thing was that she supposedly had prepared "for months" for the event. If that was preparing for months, it was even more of a train wreck.
But she's quite peeved that people assessed her performance poorly. This is a pretty good peek at how upset she is.

How dare you people! If you think she doesn't understand foreign policy, the issue is you. She just "paused to think." She even appears close to tears, which also tends to make her look even worse as a potential 2028 candidate. She wouldn't even make it to a general election; the other Democrats, who themselves are not great, would eat her alive.
I think she means to take a swipe at Trump with that "perhaps you've gotten adjusted to a president who never thinks before he speaks." But she's accidentally hitting Joe Biden, who did fit that description, not Trump.
It also sounds like someone is snoring in the background, which may be why she's trying to speak softly.
How could you put this person up against any of our hostile enemies if this is the way she reacts to some criticism?
I really don't know why she's high in some of the polls right now. Perhaps for the same reason Kamala Harris was in 2020 (and 2024), then reality hit when the voters heard more from her. But it just shows how bad the Democratic bench is.
There's probably no one who can deliver a better and more hilarious assessment of AOC's failings than Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA). He had Charlie Hurt in stitches.

“The Congresswoman is kind of like Vice President Kamala Harris, but with more bartending experience. She has never been accused of being a policy maven. You put her in a presidential primary with Elizabeth Warren or Rahm Emanuel, they will devour her like a light snack. I probably shouldn’t say this, but she can get me back. Someone told me a joke today. They said Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez announced today categorically that she is not a moron. And she went on to say she hasn’t even been to Utah, much less embraced their religion.”
Kennedy went on to say the "plan for dealing with her" has always been "Operation Let Her Speak."
"And so far it’s working, and my message to my friend the Congresswoman is, 'You go girl! You just keep it up!'" he finished.
AOC's response? She tried to paint what he said as somehow an attack on her "having been a waitress," trying to spin it as an attack on "working people."

Um, no, the mocking wasn't of any working people; the mocking was of her, she just can't handle it. She's now trying to shift "working people" in front of her like a defensive wall as "victims" of Kennedy, rather than deal with the criticism of her failure in a real way.
What she doesn't do in all this is show any knowledge or experience to justify anyone voting for her.
