Ugly Confrontation About ICE Signage at Minneapolis Yoga Studio Goes Viral

You may have noticed that there's a common element for a lot of the anti-ICE folks that we've seen out in places like Minnesota. They're largely white, liberal women, often middle-aged.

They think they are "fighting fascism," so they think that gives them the right to act as they do.

Now, an interaction at a CorePower Yoga studio in Minneapolis has gone viral. You can see a couple of staffers surrounded by a bunch of women and being yelled at over ICE. The anger apparently stemmed from studio gossip that the company’s corporate team had instructed management to take down an anti-ICE sign that was previously in the front window. The women were demanding that these staffers give them answers.

"Say it out loud and proud for all my viewers," the main woman demanded of the staffer. "Why are you being silent?”

“Let’s hear it, Delaney, loud and proud, baby. You want to say it, let’s f–king say it."

“The silence is deafening,” another person said.

Then, when the employee said something about "taking a pause," again she got yelled at to be "loud with CorePower corporate’s answers — let’s f–king go! What do you gotta say? Louder, Delaney!”

The second staffer also faced the women's fury, “Person in the glasses, you have a good answer? Delaney can’t seem to cough it up.”

The main woman denied they were berating the staffer. "You’re being asked hard questions … berating is what our neighbors are living through,” she claimed. She then demanded to know if they were going to “put the ICE sign back on the front door.”

Another woman chastised the company, saying they were a "major corporation," with studios all over the country, and the fact that they were "staying silent but trying to silence us in speaking out...that is complicit."

But imagine thinking this kind of behavior is proper, and posting it, thinking you're the person in the right, and you're the one who's going to look good from this.

That's pretty wild. If they don't like it, go somewhere else. But they demand that the company accede to their political will; everyone must walk in lockstep with the narrative. It's like a struggle session, and frankly, they don't look like yoga has helped them with calmness.

So what was the company's response to all this?

A CorePower Yoga spokesperson confirmed to The Independent that the original anti-ICE sign was removed and replaced with one that includes standardized signage across that is consistent across all of its studios, stating that law enforcement and ICE may only enter with a valid judicial warrant.

In response to the viral incident, CorePower temporarily paused the memberships of attendees as a precaution. More than half of the affected students have since had their memberships reinstated following one-on-one conversations, with others still pending contact.

Only the main person got banned.

Again, they can do as they like as a company, but if you bend over, it only tends to embolden this kind of behavior.
