Watch: Tense Moments at Student-Involved Anti-ICE Protest in Los Angeles

We've seen a lot of craziness from the anti-ICE agitators at the Roybal federal building in Los Angeles.

Last weekend, we saw many protesters attack the building, throwing things at law enforcement and even setting a dumpster on fire.

On Wednesday, some local high school and middle school students walked out to march to City Hall, and then some went to the area outside the federal building in an anti-ICE action. Kids always want to get out of school, so it doesn't take a lot to make them walk out, but it's disgraceful that educators or activists would encourage them to do this, particularly given what happened just last weekend. These actions can be dangerous.

“Trump and his allies have shown us exactly who they are, fascists," one of the speakers said. I don't think they know what "authorio-tism" or fascism is. Maybe they should be in school with real teachers to help them with that.

There's a sign they have there about "Trump's fascist takeover" and ending ICE and deportation "by any means necessary." Um, guys? Trump was elected to enforce the law. You weren't, that's not fascism.

You're missing an "s" in what should be "educators" on the sign. Educators are not doing a great job there.

They were spooked at one point when someone shouted there was shooting. There wasn't.

Then, as one might have predicted, things started to get out of hand. Someone had the sense to have the area around the building blocked off a bit by the LAPD. Then some of the anti-ICE folks began throwing things at the cops. It looked like they were pelting them with water bottles.

That's why you shouldn't have kids there if you actually care about them. The anti-ICE folks yelled "shame" at the police, but it's the police doing the right thing here, not them. Police had to call an unlawful assembly, and there was an altercation with a student. Police then arrested a minor.

So the activists aren't going to stop ICE, but a minor got arrested.

Bad move all the way around.
