The person who was allegedly behind helping organize the anti-ICE action against the Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, got some bad news on Wednesday, courtesy of Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice.

Bondi announced that Nekima Levy Armstrong, whom she said had played a key role in the organizing, had been arrested.

We will share more updates as they become available.

Listen loud and clear: WE DO NOT TOLERATE ATTACKS ON PLACES OF WORSHIP.

There was another arrest as well, and I don't think that's the end of it.

I think I can hear the leftists screaming from here; you know that the meltdowns will be ample. They probably thought there wouldn't be any consequences. Well, it looks like they may have miscalculated.

Armstrong may have suspected the hammer was about to fall when she went on CNN's Erin Burnett Outfront on Wednesday, since she gave a fascinating spin on what they did at the house of worship. Armstrong claimed that they did not "rush into the church," that they actually "sat down and participated in the service."

Has she checked out the videos of what her group did? The clips of the chaos are all over social media. They completely disrupted the service. People have seen the videos, so I don't think this hot take from her is going to work.

Plus, as we've reported, there are her own words explaining their intent to Don Lemon, saying they were going to disrupt business as usual.

"This is Operation Pull Up, more of a clandestine operation. We show up somewhere that is a key location. They don't expect us to come there, and then we disrupt business as usual," she said, according to Lemon's broadcast.

I'm not sure what Armstrong thinks she achieves with that take. She should just stop talking. Her attempt to downplay things isn't a good look.

Of course, Erin Burnett didn't press her on her claim about participating in the service. Because that's CNN.

We'll have to see who else the DOJ arrests as they continue investigating this matter.

The Cities Church has also indicated that it will be looking into its legal options. In the response to the matter posted on their website, the church took the agitators to task for their actions while also speaking about Jesus.

So the anti-ICE agitators may be facing more than just legal consequences from the DOJ.
