We've seen all kinds of harassment of ICE and other federal immigration agents.
We've seen impeding and attacking them.
We've seen people telling them to kill themselves and calling them Nazis.
But one of the things that you see with a lot of protesters is their entitlement.
They are right, ICE is wrong, even when it's ICE enforcing the law, and the demonstrators are trying to stand in the way of that enforcement. They think they are standing up for humanity.

Except, of course, they're not. If they cared about humanity, they'd care about the rule of law and all the people who have been hurt by illegal aliens who should never have been here in the first place.
That's why an encounter outside a Walgreens in Bloomington, Minnesota, is so interesting. You have an ICE agent standing there providing security for the operation being conducted in front of him. Protesters try to put him down. His responses just flattened them.
ICE: “I love my job. I can't believe I get paid for this. I’d do this for free.”

PROTESTER: “I get $200k. I’m a physician assistant.”
ICE: “How long did you have to go to school?”
PROTESTER: “7 Years”
ICE: “I only went to high school and I make $200k.”pic.twitter.com/lD1HOi1MJe
The agent warns them not to interfere, saying they can observe all they want as long as they stay back. Then they start trying to shame him, telling him he has "anger issues," when frankly, they're the ones that sound like they have issues as they harass a law enforcement officer in a parking lot.
“I love my job. I can't believe I get paid for this. I’d do this for free," the agent declared. Legend.
The woman protester responded that she made $200K as a physician's assistant, as though she thought that trumped his job.
The agent asked how long had she had gone to school for that? "Over seven years," she replied.
Then the agent finished her, “I only went to high school, and I make $200K.”
That ticked her off; you could hear the anger going up in her voice. "People regard me as someone valuable in society," she claimed. "What about you?" He doesn't even have to respond; he knows he did her in, as they start blowing whistles.
Now the amount for the agent indicates he's probably a more senior agent, and it may include things like overtime as well as bonuses. Her number, meanwhile, may be pumped up with overtime as well. But he didn't have to pay out whatever she did to get her degree.
It's hilarious and elitist for the woman to think being a physician's assistant makes her better than him. How typically leftist to think you're superior to others. The agent is serving his country, having to put up with all kinds of things, and she's standing in a parking lot yelling at him. I think that settles the question right there.
People loved it.
