Adam Kinzinger is a small, petty little man.
He was an anti-Trump Republican representative in Congress, but then he decided not to seek reelection in 2022 after redistricting in his state of Illinois. Instead, he's been stuck posting wild rants on X about Trump and Ukraine, while spewing occasionally on CNN as one of their political commentators.
I'm not sure what Kinzinger was thinking, but he made the unwise decision to pick a fight with Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon by directing this tweet at her, as our friends at our sister site Twitchy reported.

That's how Democrats/anti-Trump people think: Because you hold different political views, no one should hire you.
That's amusing, given that Kinzinger works for CNN, which isn't saying much. He can rant there, and no one will hear him.
But, of course, he thinks "they" (people who think like him) control far more than they do to make this happen. If that were true, people from Trump's first term wouldn't have been employable. If that were true, Trump himself wouldn't have won back the White House despite all the Democrats' efforts to target him and even kick him off ballots. Trump won all the swing states and the popular vote, so no, Adam, the country doesn't all think like you. Plus, in case Kinzinger didn't know it, discrimination based on political affiliation is actually illegal in D.C.

Whoops. Maybe Kinzinger should have done a little more research before he opened his mouth.
Yeah, I'm thinking that beats being an occasional commentator on a third-rate network. But it's also about that basic mentality of making things happen that folks like Dhillon and Trump have. They don't have to wait for someone to hand them a job. She doesn't have to say what might be in line with the liberal media narrative to get a gig; she's free to say what she wants and follow her conscience.
Meanwhile, Democrats want the government to control things and keep you reliant on them.
