Things have not been going well for the Democrats regarding the Epstein files.
They've been pushing this year to have them released, after ignoring them for years, as we've written many stories about the issue. They didn't really care about it until they thought they could use it to take a shot at President Donald Trump.
However, when information started to come out from different sources about the Epstein estate and the files the Department of Justice had, it wasn't looking good for the Democrats. It showed the Democrats' connection to Epstein in everything from communication with Democratic Delegate Stacey Plaskett, who represents the Virgin Islands, to a boatload (or maybe I should say a planeload) of pictures of Bill Clinton, including one of him in a hot tub with a redacted person.

Now that the files are being released, the House Oversight Democrats are apparently trying to spin against Trump. There was a photo of photos that had been released, but then the DOJ pulled back. Democrats immediately tried to make something of it.

Whoops, too bad, Democrats. It's a 25-year-old Getty picture. I've seen it for years.
Now, the picture on top of that might be Trump, too, but it's not clear, and there isn't anything discernibly wrong in it. There is also a picture of the Pope and what looks like one of Bill Clinton on the desk. This is clearly Epstein's "famous people I've met" pile. We could play this game with the Democrats, too, and ask why Joe Biden's DOJ sat on these pictures and didn't release them, and why they aren't talking about all the Clinton pictures?
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche nuked the Democrats' argument. He said that they pulled the picture because they're trying to err on the side of caution as to any pictures of women, victims or not.
“You can see in that photo there's photographs of women,” Blanche said. “And so we learned after releasing that photograph that there were concerns about those women and the fact that we had put that photo up. So we pulled that photo down. It has nothing to do with President Trump.”
He noted Trump has never denied he knew Jeffrey Epstein.
"So the absurdity of us pulling down a photo, a single photo, because President Trump was in it, is laughable," he said.
He said that if anyone had any concerns about the pictures of women, even if they didn't think they were victims, he was going to pull the pictures and redact the women's faces and then put them back up.

Then, he ripped into the Democrats, like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, about how they never cared about the Epstein files when they were in power.

We're supposed to believe there's something there when the Biden team had all this for years and years, and was doing all they could to get Trump. If they had anything, they would have dropped it.
Democrats just keep trying and failing.
