Democrats have been losing their minds over ICE arrests.
Bottom line? ICE is enforcing the law. If people on the Left try to interfere in their operations, things are not going to go well for them.
We saw a member of Congress complain about getting pepper-sprayed during an operation in Arizona. Not only did the Department of Homeland Security dispute that, but they called her out for interfering with an ongoing operation.

On Wednesday, there was a confrontation between the mayor of Evanston, Illinois, Daniel Bliss (who is also a Democrat and a congressional candidate), and Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino.
The Border Patrol had an 11-vehicle contingent, and they'd detained multiple people in the city. That drew protesters and Bliss. Bovino just dropped him with his response, as our sister site Twitchy observed:

Biss said, "The abuse has not been acceptable. The racism has not been acceptable. The violence has not been acceptable."
Bovino shot right back, saying, "Yes, that's why we're here in your community." He said the problem wasn't being adequately addressed by the locals.
Meanwhile, the protesters were trying to block the roadway to get in the way of the operation.
Bliss later posted about the interaction. He was cheering the protesters and telling the Border Patrol to "Get the hell out of our city."

Biss, who is running for Congress as a "pragmatic progressive," later amplified his criticism in a post on X, writing, "The only ‘violent mob’ in Evanston today was Greg Bovino and his masked thugs, terrorizing innocent people and then lying about our city to try and sow chaos."
He added that Evanston is "safe in spite of ICE/CBP, not because of it," praised residents who "chased you out of town" and concluded with, "Don’t come back."
Bovino disputed what Bliss said and called his comments "divisive." He also noted that the Border Patrol was still able to conduct their operation to make the city safer and termed it an "excellent day in Evanston." The Evanston Police Department and Chicago Police Department assisted with crowd control and helped federal vehicles exit safely, according to Bovino.

What kind of mayor acts like that toward federal law enforcement? And he wants to graduate to Congress. It's just disgraceful behavior. But Bovino made it clear - he wasn't going to stop them from doing their job, no matter what kind of a performance he put on.
