Schumer Melts Down Over Kimmel Being Preempted, Trips Over Own Words and Gets Leveled by Maria Bartiromo

The left is in the middle of a full-blown manic response over Jimmy Kimmel's show being indefinitely preempted after a decision by affiliates and ABC. This followed Kimmel's disgraceful remarks alleging MAGA was desperately trying to spin the narrative that Kirk's accused killer wasn't one of them. That flew in the face of facts that the authorities have laid out regarding the case, and frankly, could deceive the public. ABC decided to pull the show after its Nexstar affiliate called the comments "offensive."

ABC Preempting 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Indefinitely After Vile Comments About Charlie Kirk’s Murder

That sparked a meltdown from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who blamed Trump.

"It is outrageous, it's a page right out of Xi's playbook," Schumer ranted, referencing China's Communist leader, Xi Jinping. "This is just despicable and disgusting, and against Democratic values." He claimed "Trump and his allies" wanted to shut down speech they didn't like, and this was what "autocracies do." "I am just outraged by it - this is what dictators do. This is what Xi would do. This is what Putin would do."

It was ABC and its affiliates that pulled the show. You have a right to speak, but you don't have a right to no consequences from the people who put you on the air. They can hold you to account for what you say.

We've been talking about harmful rhetoric after Kirk's assassination, and there Schumer is already back to "dictator" after only eight days since Kirk's killing. They refuse to stop. And ironically, Schumer is blaming Trump, just as Kimmel seemed to be trying to put the killing on MAGA.

But if Schumer wants to talk about free speech, perhaps he'd like to explain this rant when he called for Tucker Carlson to be taken off the air?

Can we talk about raging hypocrisy, Senator? Just how anti-democratic and like Xi are you?

Can we also discuss the old report that Jimmy Kimmel got talking points from Schumer to use back in 2017?

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel got talking points from Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. as he prepared a series of monologues attacking the latest Republican effort to repeal ObamaCare, according to a report published Friday.

The Daily Beast reported that Schumer's office "provided technical guidance and info" about the so-called Graham-Cassidy bill, as well as "stats from various think tanks and experts" on the bill's effects.

So how many times did that happen? No wonder Schumer is flying to his defense.

Fox's Maria Bartiromo didn't hold back. She blasted Schumer, saying it was okay when conservatives and moderates were getting canceled and attacked during the Biden years.

"Give me a break, blowhard," she exclaimed.
