There are now multiple investigations ongoing into the cover-up of Joe Biden's cognitive decline.

We reported on Tuesday about the White House investigation into the autopen scandal. They are coordinating with the Department of Justice.

The House Oversight Committee is also looking into the cover-up of Biden's condition. They've been trying to interview multiple witnesses. Former Director of the Domestic Policy Council Neera Tanden and former Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations Ashley Williams have both already testified.

However, Biden's White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, invoked the Fifth Amendment and also claimed physician-patient privilege. He refused to answer whether anyone told him to lie about Biden's health.

One of the biggest names in the case was subpoenaed to testify on Wednesday - Jill Biden's senior advisor Anthony Bernal, who reportedly had a huge amount of power in the Biden administration. Just like O'Connor, he raised a lot of eyebrows when he also invoked the Fifth Amendment. He also avoided answering any questions from the press.

House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) said he only got to ask two questions of Bernal: “Was Joe Biden fit to exercise the duties of the president?” And “did any unelected official or family member execute the duties of the presidency?”

Comer minced no words in ripping into the Biden team.

This week new reporting confirms President Biden’s aides took unauthorized executive actions during his presidency amid his cognitive decline. It’s no surprise that Anthony Bernal is pleading the Fifth Amendment to shield himself from criminal liability. During his deposition today, Mr. Bernal pleaded the Fifth when asked if any unelected official or family members executed the duties of the President and if Joe Biden ever instructed him to lie about his health. This is a historic scandal and Americans demand transparency and accountability. We will continue to pursue the truth on their behalf and examine options to get the answers we need.

If they can't even answer these basic questions, you know there was a big problem.

Comer indicated that they could call Joe Biden to testify, replying to reporters that "all options are on the table" when asked about the former chief executive. "We're gonna continue our investigation. I think that the American people are concerned."

If Biden pled the Fifth before Congress, that would set off a firestorm. Call Jill and Hunter as well. Enough of this nonsense. Congress needs to pull out all the stops on this issue - we deserve transparency.

Now, beyond the Congress, with the White House investigation being coordinated with the DOJ on the autopen issue, they have a lot more to worry about. I don't think they would be satisfied with just sending out a strongly worded letter on this issue.
