Keith Olbermann and Media Get Nailed for Hilarious Spin on Cory Booker's 'Nazi Salute'

You probably could guess we'd be hitting the apex of hypocrisy from those on the left in the wake of Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) making a "Nazi salute" Saturday at a California Democrat event.

Now, of course, it wasn't a Nazi salute. But it's the same thing the left and their acolytes in media tried to spin into a Nazi salute when Elon Musk did it.

So if they were to have any consistency at all with their "Democrat rules" on the matter, they should have condemned Booker. But of course, they didn't. Because for them, the real "rule" is "D" - Democrat equals we don't do anything wrong, "R" - it's always wrong, even if it's the same thing we did.

Instead, the left desperately tried to draw distinctions between the same actions, which takes some spinning.

Our friends at Twitchy reported on the take of former ESPN and MSNBC host Keith Olbermann when he responded to "WalkAway" founder Brandon Straka.

"Musk's hand is closed, fingers together. That's a salute. Booker's fingers are opened. That's a wave goodbye. Brandon's brain is devoid of cells. That's an IQ of 27"

Um, yeah, no. Elon's hand wasn't closed. It's the same hand position. Plus, if you want to point to an actual difference, Elon said, "My heart goes out to you," making his meaning obvious to anyone honest. Booker didn't say that.

So if we take this position, if your hand isn't exactly the position that Keith demands, it's a Nazi salute, right? That's nuts. He wasn't the only one trying this, talking about hand positions or if the arm was straight or elevated, but his was one of the funniest.

That's where were are at with these Democrats at this point. By the way, it isn't Musk who's supporting terrorists like Hamas and running around doing antisemitic things on campuses and in the streets, that's the left. Perhaps the left should clean its own house of the real issues, rather than attacking people for the made-up ones?

Let's also forget the Musk "salute" that was immediately termed "Nazi-like," and was talked about breathlessly for days. There has been no such reaction in the media to Booker's "salute," apart from a few outlets talking about "MAGA accusing" Booker of a "salute."

Musk called legacy media "One big psy op."

That sounds about right. It isn't just the Democrats' hypocrisy here, it's the media's effort to always carry water for them that should be called out as well.
