Tom Homan Has the Perfect Response to Dan Goldman's Disgusting Remarks About Fed Agents

Democrats keep digging themselves a hole by embracing illegal aliens.

But there's another element of what they're doing that is concerning: the demonization of law enforcement. Acting like detaining illegal aliens is somehow evil when they are enforcing the law.

Listen to Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) as he assails the agents for being in plainclothes and wearing masks for arresting and detaining "immigrants," claiming this is "Gestapo-like behavior."

No, enforcing the law is not Gestapo-like behavior, and it's disgusting that the Democrats keep demonizing agents like this.

I don't doubt that they might be in plain clothes — as are many law enforcement officers when they make an arrest — especially if they have to wait for the person they are trying to pick up and don't want the arrest compromised. One of the reasons they may be wearing masks is that they have to deal with threats from the people they go after, and they face being doxxed/identified, which can impair their ability to do their job.

Why was Goldman trying to film them, as this report alleges?

Democrats have a problem with reality. ICE and DHS are not the Gestapo. Enforcing the law is not the same thing as killing millions of innocent people. For Goldman to compare our brave law enforcement agents to that is disgusting; he needs to apologize. Even if he's trying to argue some problem in procedure, this is way out of bounds.

The Department of Homeland Security called this out when Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz also used the term "Gestapo" (must be the talking point, although Tim got it wrong and said "Geskapo"). I'll refer back to what DHS said then.

“Governor Walz’s comments comparing ICE agents to the Gestapo is sickening. This type of rhetoric and demonization of ICE officers has led to our officers facing a 413% increase in assaults,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin.

Border Czar Tom Homan also shot down the mask argument, explaining that doxxing was at an all-time high, agents were being threatened, assaults were up, and they weren't going to stand for it.

"You say why do they wear a mask? They're trying to protect themselves and their families!" he asserted.

Good for Homan for standing up against this nonsense. It isn't complicated, except for Democrats who want to whip this up into something it isn't.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
