Watch: Jesse Watters Correspondent Trolls Comey at His Book Signing With Epic Request

Former FBI Director James Comey set loose a firestorm when he made a social media post last week, with a picture of seashells in the shape of "86 47" on the beach, which many interpreted as a threat to President Donald Trump.

Comey ultimately took it down, claiming he meant nothing violent by it. He's the former Director of the FBI, and he wants us to believe he didn't know what the expression meant. But the Secret Service did have a little talk with him.

Comey went on MSNBC with Nicolle Wallace on Monday. He gave a bizarre, twisted description of how "clever" he still thought the shell design was, even saying it showed "artistic flair." He also said he didn't regret making the post because he thought it was innocent. He has a habit of "finding" shells with political messages on the beach. He posted a picture of a shell that urged people to vote for Kamala Harris before the election.

Comey attacked Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on MSNBC for saying he should be arrested for what he had posted. He moaned like he was being set upon for "walking on the beach with his wife," as though he were the victim in this.

So Jesse Watters decided to send his correspondent, Johnny, to "investigate the investigator" and troll Comey at his book signing.

It looked like Comey didn't have many people there.

Johnny went up, gave him the book, then asked why he wanted to "86" President Donald Trump?

Comey's reaction was priceless. He was ticked off and said he was not "taking questions like that now."

Johnny then asked him about his interview with the Secret Service. At this point, Comey doubts if he wants the book signed and asks him. Johnny says yes, and Comey says, "You got it, bro."

Then Johnny asks Comey if he will sign his seashell. You can see, at that point, he's gotten Comey. Johnny continues, asking him what beach it is where Comey finds all these interesting seashell political messages — first a Kamala seashell, then an "86 47." What's going on there — what kind of a weird beach is he going to? Comey thinks he's too clever for everyone, so it was funny to troll him. Johnny asks again if Comey wants to sign his seashell. Comey responded, "I do not."

At that point, a guy comes up and directs him away from Comey. You can see the look Comey gives Johnny as he leaves — it's the "if looks could kill" look. He did not look pleased. I think he will be living with people asking him to sign their seashells for a while, after this troll.

What a great way to puncture Comey's pomposity.
