Miners Cheer As Trump Signs Orders to Bring Back Energy Dominance, Has Them Laughing at Remarks on Biden

One of the things that President Donald Trump has made clear about his presidency is that he intends to bring jobs back that Joe Biden let get away or consciously attacked. That's part of what the tariff push is about: encouraging manufacturing to come back to the U.S. rather than fleeing to other countries.

One of the areas that Trump is intent on building up again is the energy industry, or as they phrase it, "American Energy Dominance." It's not just about jobs but also securing our own energy independence — about which Biden didn't seem to be concerned.

Under Trump, the price of oil has been coming down, and the average gas price nationally has dropped from what it was under Joe Biden a year ago.

On Tuesday, Trump signed executive orders to help the coal industry.

According to the Trump team, the orders will:

— Reinvigorate America's beautiful clean coal industry

— Lift Biden-era restrictions on coal plants

— Strengthen the reliability and security of the electric grid

— Protect American energy from overreach by radical leftists in the states

It will also expedite leases for coal mining on federal lands.

What a stark contrast with the clueless Biden.

Trump's new actions were embraced by coal miners and people like Tony Campbell, CEO of the East Kentucky Power Cooperative, who were present at the ceremony. The coal miners cheered the actions and Campbell spoke on how this was a great aid to the security of the electrical grid.

Trump not only praised the miners, but he also took a humorous jab at his predecessor's failed actions — which the miners appeared to love.

Trump blasted Biden for his war on coal, "For 4 years, Joe Biden tried to abolish the American coal industry.  They did everything in their power... while he was awake, which wasn't much... shutting down dozens of coal plants."

Trump also was kind enough to sign remarks given by one of the coal miners. He joked he might be able to sell it and make a lot of money.

Trump said they also would be looking into nuclear and every other form of affordable energy to "get it done."
