WATCH: Rosie O'Donnell Explains Why She Left Country in Wake of Trump's Election

How many times have we heard actors or other liberal celebrities claim that if President Donald Trump got elected, they would leave the country? It's become an almost laughable joke, because they never really do, right? They say that, but then they're hypocrites.

Well, it looks like one of them might have finally done it.

Rosie O'Donnell just announced on her social media in a nine minute video that she moved to Ireland on Jan. 15. She said she had moved there with her 12 year old. She has four other children who are adults.

"It's been pretty wonderful, I have to say. The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming. And I'm very grateful," O'Donnell said in the TikTok video as she revealed her international move.

She said that she's "in the process" of getting Irish citizenship as her grandparents hail from the country, before expanding on the reasoning behind her move.

"I was never someone who thought I would move to another country, that's what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child. And here we are," she said.

I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I'm trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that's when we will consider coming back," she said.

She stated it was "heartbreaking to see what was happening politically and hard for me personally as well" and "the personal is political."

O'Donnell explained that she was fearful that Tiktok was going to go away. Funny she didn't thank Trump for saving it at least temporarily. She said the mainstream media in the U.S. has been "letting us down...they haven't been doing their job." Apparently she doesn't think they're doing enough to fight Trump. She hoped that it wasn't "too late already" and encouraged everyone "to stand up and use their voice, to protest. to demand that we follow the Constitution in our country. "

Um, Rosie? We have a guy who is following the Constitution โ€” versus the guy you probably voted for, Joe Biden, who makes up imaginary constitutional amendments. Biden tried to tweet a constitutional amendment into effect, and had to be told it doesn't work that way.

It's actually pretty sad that Rosie feels this way. She's clearly disturbed about being away from her other kids and her friends. But she's allowed her anger at Trump to consume her so much she's taken that step to be away from them. She's giving up all kinds of moments she may not get back because of it, not only for herself, but for her youngest as well.

Ireland has beautiful scenery but Rosie's going to find out it's not the United States, including not in their speech laws. She's likely to come to understand what a mistake she just made.

Maybe that ultimately will be good for her and she'll change. I wouldn't bet on it, but it would be better for her health.

President Trump's election has radical Democrats in panic mode, but their childish protests won't stop all of the winning.
