The JD Vance memes have been out there for a while.
Perhaps the most famous one is the side-eye. He did a couple of versions of that on Tuesday when the Democrats were acting up during President Donald Trump's Joint Address to Congress.
JD Vance is like the dad the Democrats never had. 😂 pic.twitter.com/sTFzxfOHGB

But in the wake of the ruckus in the Oval Office with Volodymyr Zelensky, the left started trying to put out memes about Vance. Then the right grabbed it back by embracing the trend that they started first.
Okay let's latch on to the trend

Vance then destroyed the left's dreams that he would be upset about the memes when The Blaze's Julio Rosas reported he spoke to Vance and JD thought it was a funny trend.
🚨: Landed back at Joint Base Andrews with Vice President Vance. I can confirm VP Vance has seen many of the memes/edits of his pictures and thinks it’s a funny trend.@theblaze

Rosas said this killed a Slate reporter's story where the reporter said that the memes had to be "simply devastating" to Vance. That's just silly; Vance is of the meme generation, he's engaged in some himself. Plus, he's a Marine veteran, so I think he's able to deal with a meme. It says more about the left if they think stuff like this would bother him.
Not only did Vance tell Rosas he liked the trend, but he engaged in it himself on Saturday, posting this tweet.

People loved it and termed him the most relatable vice president ever. This was the guy they were trying to paint as "weird."
There it is! https://t.co/jeCxEMnnQA

It's a great thing to have an intelligent vice president who also has a sense of humor.

Can you imagine Biden, Kamala Harris or Tim Walz responding like that? With Harris, we'd probably get a word salad about how important she was. Biden would tell you to "Come on, man" -- why aren't you getting how wonderful he is? Indeed, they were the ones who were "weird." Especially Walz with the jazz hands thing.
They had no sense of humor. That's also the Democrats in general. That's why the Slate guy isn't getting it. No, the memes aren't devastating to Vance -- he gets it. Plus, they just make him even more popular. The left is helping to build a 2028 powerhouse for the White House and they don't even get it when they do things like this. The more you attack the stronger he becomes.
We should be thrilled each and every day that Joe Biden is back home on the beach in Delaware and Kamala is wandering around somewhere in California.
