Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is the head of the DOGE Subcommittee which is part of the House Oversight Committee. So, you know that it's going to be a "pistol-packing" committee that's likely to have a lot of fireworks as they expose and deal with a lot of stuff that needs to be cleaned up.
Greene had a hearing on Wednesday titled, "America Last: How Foreign Aid Undermined U.S. Interests Around the World."
Greene kicked if off by saying that USAID has been "weaponized" to undercut U.S. interests abroad.
“The Democrat-run USAID should not get to use our federal government, our US taxpayer dollars as their party piggy bank to push their radical agenda in countries that we have no business giving money to,” Greene said in her opening statements, adding that 96% of USAID employee political contributions go to democratic party candidates or PACs. [....]
“USAID has been transformed into an America-last foreign aid slush fund to prop up extremist groups, implement censorship campaigns and interfere in foreign elections to force regime change around the world,” she said. “That is the dark truth about USAID. That is the story the American people need to know.”
Greene also said, "This Committee, based on this hearing and witness testimonies, will consider recommending investigations and criminal referrals." She then dove into a variety of subjects with Max Primorac, a Heritage Foundation research fellow who was a former USAID official.

She mentioned the withholding of aid threat by Joe Biden to Ukraine unless the prosecutor was fired. Primorac also said that 50 percent went to "overhead charges" of $140 billion, which was criticized by the Inspector general who covered USAID. When he was asked what he thought was done by Biden USAID in the world, he said they had pushed a "radical ideology" onto the developing world. Primorac said USAID was weaponized under Biden to attack parties that were conservative, not just in Brazil, but in Poland and Hungary as well.
Greene also questioned Gregg Roman, the Executive Director of the Middle East Forum, who said there was a pattern of supporting things that were inherently "anti-American" under Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
Roman also outlined what had been giving to "radical organizations" and organizations considered to be terrorists by the U.S.: over $122 million.

"That's not pocket change, that's a jackpot for the wrong crowd," he advised.

Greene also had a written request at the last minute from Rep. Jared Moskowtiz (D-FL) to waive onto the Committee for the meeting. Greene's answer was simple and precise.

Moskowitz was not happy, and tossed a fit, claiming Rep. Greene is scared of him.
MTG is scared of me. Looks like Comer ran into her office and told her to hide. She denied my ability to attend the committee hearing. Sad. https://t.co/OWgKcjFXmv

Or maybe as a Business Insider journalist Bryan Metzger observed, Moskowitz had indicated he had no interest in the Committee. The congressman also insulted Greene.
And Moskowitz told me in December he had no interest in being on the DOGE subcommittee.

"I'm not interested in doing anything Marjorie Taylor Greene touches," he told me. "She's not a serious member." https://t.co/EwJW28Ucfa
"I'm not interested in doing anything Marjorie Taylor Greene touches," said Moskowitz. "She's not a serious member."
Not to mention that Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) -- who is on the Committee -- previously said he had "zero interest" in helping Greene and the GOP, as far as DOGE.

Why would Greene allow Moskowitz in, when Democrats have this kind of an attitude?
