Elon Musk and Adam Schiff Throw Down - Schiff Ends Up Scrambling and Deflecting

DOGE head Elon Musk and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) had a throw-down on X that culminated on Thursday.

It started over the confirmation vote for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Schiff announced on Tuesday night that he would be holding the floor and doing everything he could to stop his "nomination." He meant confirmation, but he couldn't even get that right.

Then Elon Musk threw down the gauntlet, asking, "How much are they paying you, Schiffty?" Clearly, he was asking if Schiff was getting something for opposing Kennedy.

Then Schiff and the Democrats failed big time when Kennedy was confirmed, as we reported.

They keep losing, and all they can do in response is throw fits and say all kinds of things about Elon Musk.

Schiff tried to attack Musk with a response that he knew was unresponsive to Musk's question.

"Thanks, Elon. My salary is public, as is my financial report. But since you ask, when will you be releasing yours?" Schiff replied.

Um, Adam? You know, no one was asking about your public salary, which is public. This is classic Schiff, deflecting and obscuring. People on X blasted him for not answering the question, so if he thought he was being clever, it didn't go over well.

As far as Elon Musk is concerned. He isn't taking a salary. Imagine that. The richest man in the world, with all kinds of other responsibilities, has pledged his time for free to help clean up the waste, fraud, and abuse in the government. He's even, according to reports, sleeping on the floor at his office near the White House to work as much as he can on this.

That's an astounding and powerful thing that he should be thanked for, but the Democrats tell on themselves when they are trying to stop him.

If Schiff is talking about Musk filing a financial disclosure, NPR reported he had received an ethics briefing and was filing a confidential financial disclosure form. So, like most of Schiff's attacks, this one seems to be full of holes. Musk has top security clearances, so it's sort of nonsensical to argue it's cool if random government employees that we don't even know can look at all this information DOGE is reviewing, but Musk can't. They're the real "unelected" bureaucracy, not Musk who has been appointed by Trump through DOGE in the Executive Office of the President.

Schiff also had a tantrum over the coming vote on Kash Patel for FBI Director.

He's really not going to handle the next four years and what's coming very well.
