Democrats have been trying to demonize the Trump administration for wanting to deport illegal aliens.
But there's at least one big problem with this attempt — the American people agree with President Donald Trump, and that's why they voted for him and rejected the open-border Democrats. If we didn't already know that, the latest numbers from CNN's senior data analyst Harry Enten tell the tale and are likely to make the Democrats lose their minds (what little they have left).
Enten explained that there have been four polls taken in the last month with essentially the same question, with slight variation, about deporting all illegal aliens. "There's real uniformity," Enten explained.
There's no arguing with these different numbers that a majority of Americans support this because they're all the same across the different pollsters, Enten said.
Enten, the data nerd, also explained how the numbers have changed over time, from Trump's first term to now, that it's now 20 points higher than it was just before Trump came into office the last time. Enten concluded that gave Trump a "lot more leverage to go with the American people" to address the issue, "I think the American people are going to give Donald Trump the benefit of the doubt to do what he wants to do.”
Enten also noted the number of people — 55 percent — who want legal and illegal immigration reduced. That's a 14-point rise from 2023.
It's easy to understand why: The horrible policies under Joe Biden have made the issue much worse and much more poignant for so many people. They realized (if they didn't already know) that what Trump was saying was right. They want a complete change from the open-door policies of Joe Biden; they want the law to actually be enforced and the country protected.

The American people are finally getting that targeted action they wanted. The Trump team has ICE already in high gear to get the job done, arresting 308 illegal aliens, including an attempted murderer and child molester, during raids around sanctuary cities. They picked up another alleged MS-13 gang member wanted for murder on Wednesday. That man thanked Obama and Biden for everything they did for him and cursed Trump.
