Kamala's Stammering Mess Answer During Telemundo Interview Should by All Rights End Her Campaign

Kamala Harris is up a creek without a paddle at this point.

When she was avoiding interviews, she was being hammered over that. But now that she's doing interviews, she keeps doing horribly. The more she talks, the more we see of her, the more she seems to sink like a stone in the polls.

Former President Donald Trump is now ahead of her in all the battleground states in the Real Clear Politics average. He's up in the Nate Silver and Polymarket forecasts. He's even closing the gap in the national popular vote, now at only 0.7 in the RCP.

They probably should pull her from the field but they don't have a lot of options at this point. That means you get bad results like her interview with Telemundo.

Among the things that Telemundo anchor Julio Vaqueiro said that Trump defined her as was "an extreme socialist who will destroy this country." For many Latinos who have fled places where there was such extremism, they are not big fans of that, so that is very important. "How do you define yourself: as a progressive, as a socialist, as a moderate?" he inquired. "How do you define yourself to these voters?"

She claimed she is a "pragmatic capitalist."

But a "pragmatic capitalist' would have a real economic vision that wasn't just an attempt to bribe voters with a few promises of "free stuff." S,o she is anything but that, and her record proves it.

Harris was ranked the most liberal senator in the Senate when she was there--which would make her more left than Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) or Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).

Then Harris picked an incredibly leftist VP running mate in MN Governor Tim Walz, who equates socialism and neighborliness.

It may be the most radical ticket in history for the Democrats.

But that wasn't even the worst of it. The worst was when she responded on a "pathway to citizenship." You can see her brain glitching out as she struggled to find an answer that wasn't going to sink her. She failed.

Harris said she was talking about a pathway to citizenship, when Vaqueiro said Democrats weren't talking about it or what "migrants " brought to the country.

"Oh, but, there is no question...that migrants bring...but that...America is a country that was built in part by immigrants who have come...," she said, as she struggled and stammered through that. It was a complete mess. She isn't even able to enunciate a coherent response to a simple question.

She was asked about "mass deportations" but her answer wasn't any better. Again, nothing specific as to security, just saying they need a "pathway to citizenship." That's her focus, not the security.

If there's any justice, her response should finish off her horrible campaign.

Elon Musk called out that strategy:
