I don't know who ultimately decided that Tim Walz and Kamala Harris had to go out and do interviews. But given the train wrecks that have ensued, whoever it is has to be losing it behind the scenes.
Both Walz and Harris were nuked on "60 Minutes" Monday night. Tim Walz also got completely destroyed by Shannon Bream on Fox.

But you wouldn't have bet money that Kamala's ultimate denouement would come on "The View" -- perhaps the most friendly possible outlet that she could go on.
There was some obligatory simpering when they asked her about the coup on Biden and when she heard the word from him about stepping aside.
Kamala compares her coup against Joe Biden to the American revolution:

This story is different every time she tells it. The last time, she said that she was going to cook a pork roast. The only thing that's believable is that she was probably thrilled to hear the news.
She talked about "turning the page" from the lies.
Kamala accidentally describes how Americans view HER: "They're exhausted with the lies, they're exhausted with the selfishness, they're exhausted with the attempt to divide us ... they're ready to turn the page." pic.twitter.com/FVlEw4RIZM

But she and Biden are the ones occupying office now. So this is pure projection but she keeps saying it.
Harris claimed that they failed in their job because they couldn't get a bill passed that they proposed on day one.

Of course, the real problem was they blew up the system by doing away with Trump's border policies on their first day. Then they did nothing to stop anything for three years.
Kamala claimed she prosecuted cartels.

In fact, what she did while occupying office was make the cartels rich.
But then came the things that really did her in.
She got nailed for being political in blowing up a controversy about an alleged missed call with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. She claimed that he didn't take her call because he was being "political" when he just had to deal with one disaster and has another one bearing down on him with Hurricane Milton. It was the height of ridiculousness on her part to make a political issue out of it, and he just wrecked her for it, explaining how she had never called or helped in any prior storms in the past three years. He also said she had no role here because he'd already been speaking with and dealing with Biden.
Kamala Harris gets called out on The View for never having called Ron DeSantis in the past about hurricanes and only now doing it for political reasons.

Notice what she can't do is deny what he said was right. So it's clear that it is in fact political, that she's only calling because she's running. Why didn't she care before? Why did she decide to attack someone who has to face such disasters? So she just showed how partisan she is, even over a hurricane.

While her "60 Minutes" interview was bad, her performance on "The View" might have been even worse.
"If anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?" Sunny Hostin asked.

"There is not a thing that comes to mind," she said. And she admits to being "a part of" most of the decisions.
Oh, my. She can't offer anything different from a complete failure.
Then why the heck would anyone vote for you if you have nothing else to offer?
She just blew up her "new way forward" slogan and hung a "Joe Biden" anchor around her political fortunes.
They ask again for what would be a "specific difference." Again, all you get is a word salad.

While doing nothing differently. Yikes.
Stick a fork in that campaign.
