I reported earlier about some of the wild background of the suspect in the second Trump assassination attempt, Ryan Wesley Routh, including his reported donations to Democrats and his efforts to recruit people to fight in Ukraine. His X account showed continual bizarre posts trying to draw attention to his desire to help Ukraine and you can check them out because they were preserved before X suspended the account. They indicated he was buying the "threat to democracy" line that has been pushed by Democrats like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
It's hard to believe that even after the attempt on the former president in July, anyone could still get that close to him. Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) revealed that the Secret Service Acting Director told members of Congress that Joe Biden ordered the same level of protection for Trump as a sitting president. Yet that wasn't what appeared to be in effect on Sunday, which raises a big problem about whether we are getting the truth and that Trump is still lacking in protection.
Then there was the big question: how did the suspect know where Trump would be when it wasn't on his schedule? Was he tracking him or did he get some help?

Now there's more news about the suspect from both his son and a neighbor who knew Routh when he lived in Greensboro, NC. He was most recently living in Hawaii.
According to the neighbor, Routh was "a little cuckoo," but she wouldn't have guessed he would do what he was accused of.
'I’ve seen the guns myself and all, and, yeah, they had a lot of guns and stuff over there, and, yeah, a lot of people were afraid of him back in the day,' the woman said.
'I thought he was just living the life in Hawaii with the girlfriend and all, so for him to be assassinating the president, that’s just crazy.'
Her comments come as photos show a Biden-Harris sticker on a white pickup truck sitting in the driveway of Routh's Hawaii home.

But what the suspect's son said revealed the basic problem with how deeply the media/Democratic demonization of Trump has inculcated itself.
According to the son, Oran Routh:
He said his father hates Trump as 'every reasonable person does', adding ‘I don't like Trump either.'
Oran said: 'He's my dad and all he's had is couple traffic tickets, as far as I know. That's crazy. I know my dad and love my dad, but that's nothing like him.
'He said he was at the beach, but I thought that meant the outer banks in Hawaii. I didn't ask him for more information because we've had a falling out. We've grown apart.'
Yeah, it was a little more than traffic tickets. And no, every reasonable person doesn't hate Trump. But that's the attitude the Democrats and the media have fostered. He thinks that's true because that's what they're always trying to push. And it's that media propaganda that can prompt bad actions.
