The mainstream media coverage of this election has been pretty bad so far.
Most of the coverage of former President Donald Trump has been negative, while most of the coverage of Kamala Harris is positive. Yet, he's still beating her in some of the polls/forecasts--which shows you what people think of the media.
The media is constantly twisting what he and/or running mate JD Vance say, to make it sound bad and not give full context.
Listen as MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle even insists there's a "double standard" on how media is covering the candidates:
MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle slammed the media for not providing enough negative coverage of Trump.

Here are the facts about the mainstream media:
Coverage of Kamala —> 84% positive
Coverage of Trump —> 89% negative

She's right. Except she's so deluded she wants us to believe it's a double standard against Harris, rather than a double standard against Trump.
We would talk more about Harris' policies -- if she actually was clear on what they are. Even the things she or her campaign have talked about seem to have her flipping back and forth like a fish.
The AP just gave us another example that journalism is dead, with their latest article about Kamala Harris. Is it about her policies? What she would do to improve the economy? What she would finally do to protect the border. Well, not quite:
Harris turns to her favorite foods in effort show a more private side and connect with voters https://t.co/DEWdNzHeJe

They want to tell us about what foods she likes to eat. I don't care what foods she likes to eat. I want to know what her policies and plans are. I want to know if Americans can afford to eat, given her bad, past history as a measure of what she would do in the future. But hey, who cares about that? At least we know she made pancakes and bacon for her nieces:
The Narrative industry can’t tell us much about Kamala’s policies but at least they can provide precise details on stuff like this: https://t.co/K89MmHHf30 pic.twitter.com/0U96LG46eK

This is just ridiculous. If I were this writer, I would hang it up and slink away in shame for doing an article like this.
From talking about nacho cheese Doritos as her snack of choice to washing collard greens in the bathtub, Harris is aiming to connect with voters on a more personal level. While learning that she likes to munch tortilla chips at snack time likely isn’t enough on its own to sway anyone to vote for her, the small — and sometimes amusing — details could help Harris show she can relate to people and their concerns. [....]
“What is that cake?” she said. Chocolate caramel, an employee answered.
“I want a slice of that. Caramel is like my favorite,” Harris said. “Oh, chocolate and caramel?” she added, after appearing to digest the description. The cake was covered in a white frosting with caramel on top and drizzling down the sides.
What great investigative journalism that is. They even repeated the story about her working in McDonald's, which seems to have as much proof as Joe Biden's claim he was a trucker.
The boys down at Tire Kingdom were just saying they wish they knew more about what chips Kamala prefers https://t.co/oNOsqdOt8S
