Kamala's Latest Move Has People Asking If She's Playing Games to Avoid Reporters

We've seen Kamala Harris trying to duck reporters and avoid giving any real answers to questions since she was handed the Democratic nomination. She's done one interview since then -- with the aid of her emotional support governor -- Tim Walz -- but it didn't go particularly well. She had a bunch of lies and the optics of how it was set up were awful. Even Bill Maher and his panel mocked her over it and noted the big voter problem she faced, losing young male voters who were turning their support to former President Donald Trump.

In the wake of the DNC and the interview, she doesn't seem to have gotten any bump in the polls.

It may just be when you try to coast on "vibes," flip-flop on your prior positions, and don't really share what your policies are, the American people tend not to trust you.

People noticed something funny while she was traveling on Monday on her way to Detroit to campaign, and it had a lot of them talking. Stephen Green of our sister site PJ Media termed it a "new trick to avoid reporters."

She appears to be on the phone because she has an earbud in her ear and a long very visible wire to the phone. She waves quickly and dismissively at the press and then heads up into the plane. As she climbs the steps into the plane, she puts the phone to her ear.

It's actually that last part I find especially funny. Some people questioned whether people really use wired earbuds anymore. But if they were working and you were really on the phone with someone, why would you then need to put the phone to your ear? If she's actually talking on the phone at the top of the steps, why is the phone away from her mouth? It's like she was doubling down on the "I am on the phone" message to the media, sorry I'm just too busy to take any questions.

Bottom line, it fits with how fake she is. Her policies seem to be tailored to fit the audience, just like her changing accents. It's bizarre -- it's like how Joe Biden became something different for each audience. And she's just hoping it all holds together and she can slip the act past people without people figuring out what a failure she's been.
