The Democrats wanted to sell us on the idea of "joy" at the DNC. 

I'll grant them that having someone who is a merely horrible candidate might make them more "joyful" than having one who also exhibits major cognitive decline. As long as they were willing to throw "democracy" under the bus in the process. 

But perhaps the only real "joy" at the event was the comedians who were there doing great skits mocking the Democrats and how lacking in self-awareness the Dems were about it. 

Comedian Alex Strenger gave a funny interview to the BBC as a member of the "white dudes for Harris." He was a perfect parody of a Democrat.

But Lionel McGloin, another comedian who was also at the DNC with the Free Press, brought his act to another level by tracking down some Democrats and nailing them with questions in the process. Among the people he got was Rep.  Jerry Nadler (D-NY). “Can we please this year —  It’d be so brat — have a higher tax rate for rich white men?” McGloin asked him.

Nadler said, "Well, if we have a Democratic Congress, we certainly will." 

Yikes. How far gone is Nadler? Does he even realize what he just agreed to? 

McGloin then asks NY Attorney General Letitia James great questions, "Are you worried that Donald Trump is going to weaponize the justice system if he gets in power?" How funny is that to ask of James? 

"I'm concerned about Project 2025," she said. "And it's important that individuals understand that Project 2025 consolidates power in the hands of one dangerous man. So it's really critically important." 

"Instead of prosecuting his political opponents," McGloin interjects. 

"Exactly!" she replies, having no idea of how she's being spoofed. She ran on a promise to get Trump in her election for her position. And yet somehow now we're supposed to look at all this and think she's objective. 

Then McGloin compliments her on how "beautiful" she is and they hug and kiss on the cheek. And she's just thrilled and completely taken in.

He also had some funny interactions with Kellyanne Conway, movie director J.J. Abrams, former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, and News Nation's Chris Cuomo. He asks a Democrat what she thinks is more important: access to abortion or democracy? You know how screwed up Democrats are when you hear her answer. Hint: she doesn't pick democracy; that's how crazed the Democrats are at this point. 

At this point, the Democrats are just not a serious party. They prove it again and again when they can't even present any serious policies but still demand your vote.
