WATCH: Bret Baier Decimates Dan Goldman's Defense of Kamala Harris - the Look on His Face Is Priceless

I have to hand it to former President Donald Trump. He certainly is fearless when it comes to going anywhere to get his message out there. He's shown he'll go into hostile media territory; he's shown he'll go into deep blue areas to reach out to Americans. He did a press conference last week where he took all kinds of questions. He did an X Spaces conversation with X CEO Elon Musk on Monday night. The Spaces tweet had millions of impressions, and they had over a million people in the Spaces event — that's even with X suffering a DDOS attack over the interview. But the point is Trump is willing to put himself out there.

Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is not. She has been ducking normal questions and won't even do friendly interviews. And she's refused to accept debate dates that Trump has agreed to, while falsely trying to accuse him of ducking them.

One of the Democrats pimping for her, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), tried this disingenuous tactic on Fox Monday evening. But he got shut down hard by Bret Baier. Goldman claimed that he understood why Trump didn't want to debate, despite the facts. But Baier wasn't letting that go — check Goldman's face as Baier does him in.

“He [Trump] accepted three. He's said yes to September 4, September 10, September 17,” Baier corrected him, blowing up Goldman's point and saying that it wasn't true that he didn't want to debate.

Goldman said, "No, no, no, he had agreed to Sept. 10..."

Then Baier cut him off, "With Biden, who got pushed out." Boom, yes, because Democrats were afraid he was going to lose, so to heck with democracy and the 14 million plus who voted for him in the primaries. Because Trump beat Biden so badly, the Democrats not only pulled him out of that second debate, they pulled him out of the whole race. So much for their claims of caring about "democracy" or our norms. But it's incredibly hypocritical to now accuse Trump of being afraid to debate when they were afraid even to have Biden be in the race anymore.

Goldman said, "What's the difference?" Maybe people care about reality and anti-democratic actions — and the agreement wasn't with her. Also, he may not realize what he actually said there, equating her to Biden.

But as Baier pointed out, in any event, Trump agreed to the debate in a non-friendly environment. Meanwhile Kamala Harris hasn't agreed to the other debates. It's Kamala who is ducking debate dates, not Trump. It's Kamala who wouldn't dare do the kind of press conference that Trump did.

The look on Goldman's face was priceless. He seemed taken aback when his gaslighting was cut short by reality. It almost sounded like he had old talking points and hadn't updated them. Either way, he looked pretty darn foolish, either truly ignorant or lying his head off. But at this point, Democrats don't seem to care about the truth. They're just saying anything they can to try to help Harris, regardless of whether it's true or not.
