Folks on the right have a saying that you can't despise liberal media enough.
They certainly keep proving it again and again, even in the wake of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. You would think they could put aside their animosity at least for a few days. But some showed what vile people they were immediately, even in how they reported on the assassination attempt itself.
Even at the Republican National Convention, where Trump just made his vice-presidential pick and got the nomination of his party, they couldn't stop.

A reporter from MSNBC Jacob Soboroff had some disgusting questions for him, he just couldn't put it aside, asking DJT Jr what his father's second term would look like, saying even he would probably admit "your father was a divisive figure."
But Donald Trump Jr wasn't letting it go by. He just decimated that question.
"I don't think he was divisive at all," Trump Jr. responded. "I think the media created divisiveness around him. They lied about Russia, Russia collusion, they said he was a traitor, went after him in every which ways possible. If the media actually starts being an honest broker talking about the things that he did, the prosperity he brought, the peace deals that he signed around the world, rather than the disaster that we're living now, I think you'd do everyone in the country a big favor."
Boom. Well said.
The reporter then tried another attack, "I know immigration is important to him. I covered the family separation crisis closely. Will we continue to see policies like separating 5000 children deliberately from their parents?"
Trump Jr. replied with, "You mean the Obama administration...?"
The reporter then tried to come to the defense of Barack Obama, "You know, they didn't do that, sir. Will there be a second family separation policy?"
Trump Jr ripped into him, "It's M-S-D-N-C. So I expect nothing less from you clowns. You couldn't wait. You couldn't wait with your lies and with your nonsense. So just get outta here."
Now that's a verbal smackdown.
There it is. There was somehow no "family separation" under Obama or Biden, no deaths of illegal aliens, no "kids in cages" -- even though there was all of it. It was just not worthy of coverage by the liberal media when a Democrat was occupying the office.
They never focus on the great success that Trump brought to the border or the horrible things that happened at the border under first Obama, then Biden when it got even worse. He created such a massive crisis by destroying everything that Trump achieved. Where is the question about the thousands of kids that went missing under Biden or the fact that kids were being handed over to traffickers?
It's gross that the reporter was so antagonistic. But for them, this is so their regular mode, they don't even know how to be fair or unbiased. Good on Don Jr for not standing for it.
