As we reported, on Thursday, the House Judiciary Committee voted to advance the contempt resolution against Attorney General Merrick Garland for failing to comply with a subpoena to turn over the audio recordings of Joe Biden's October interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur. Biden also asserted executive privilege over the audio in order to block people from seeing just how bad his condition is. 

The House Oversight Committee also passed a resolution to advance it, but not before some wild exchanges and fiery meltdowns between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).

Things went out of control when Crockett attacked Greene for bringing up the question of Democrats on the House Oversight Committee "employing Judge Merchan’s daughter.” Greene was trying to raise questions about the potential bias in the Trump case because of Democrats who employed the judge's daughter's firm. Apparently, Democrats didn't like that question being asked. Crockett flipped out, asking what that had to do with Garland. 

Then Greene responded, “I think you know what you’re here for. I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.” This is something else.

Then AOC flipped out at that. 

“How dare you attack the physical appearance of another person?” she shouted. 

Greene then shot back, “Are your feelings hurt? Awww.” 

“Oh! Girl, baby, girl!” Ocasio-Cortez ranted, “Don’t even play!”

“Oh, Really? Baby girl? I don’t think so,” Greene replied. 

She asked AOC to debate her, and AOC said, "I think it's pretty self-evident." 

Greene responded that AOC didn't have enough intelligence to. That provoked another outcry. 

Greene agreed to strike her words but said she was not apologizing.

Then Crockett waded into it again by trying to take a shot at Greene's appearance. 

“I’m just curious. To better understand your ruling, if someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleached blonde, bad-built, butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?” Crockett inquired of House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer. 

"What now?" Comer asked, saying he had no idea what she had just asked. 

Someone made a motion to strike her words. 

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) intervened, telling Crockett to "Calm down." 

“No! Don’t tell me to calm down because y’all talk noise, and then you can’t take it!” Crockett ranted. “Because if I come and talk s**t about her, y’all gonna have a problem!” 

Crockett then took her meltdown to X and continued to rant. 

So MTG wanted to talk about my appearance in COMMITTEE?!

She refused to apologize!

The chairman ruled that it was ok…

Crockett just showed she can't take it and continued with it even when the initial words against her were struck. 

What they're really upset about is that they have no defense for either Joe Biden or Merrick Garland here. Garland is refusing to turn over the audio that will reveal how bad Joe Biden's condition is. All the Democrats can really do is throw fits here to try to deflect from the problems of Garland and Biden.
