More Biden Confusion on Whether He Would Speak on Iran and Israel, but the Answer Is Typical Team Biden

As I wrote earlier, it was hard to believe that in the face of the threat of an attack on Israel from Iran, Joe Biden insisted on going to vacation to his beach house. I don't know what it is that they do for him there, but Biden must be pretty desperate for it--or in complete disregard for everything important--when he behaves that way.

He had to come rushing back, likely once he got the intel about the coming drone attack, and was chastised, rightfully, by many for leaving in the first place. Although to be fair, some thought it might be better for all concerned if he did stay on vacation, positing there'd be less damage to the world that way.

My gosh, he looks so old and out of it here:

Then came a report that he was going to speak on Iran. But, media pulled that back.

Yes, normally this would be the point at which the person who occupies the office of the leader of the free world would speak. Yet, we get a report, and then a pullback of that report. Does that mean someone thought better of it, and knew that this was not the time to issue a gaffe-ridden statement?

Instead, as we reported, what we got was a carefully crafted "White House statement" -- translation: not from Joe. It's past four p.m. Eastern time, and not the best time for him.

Instead of a statement, we were told Biden had called an early lid, so don't expect any statement at all from him on Saturday.

So, it's typical Biden and his staff. They're not going to put him out there.

I wonder if Iran even picked Saturday, knowing Biden would be on vacation. He's as regular as clockwork. But either way, when you project weakness, as Biden has, when you coddle Iran, when you give them money, you invite attack, as GOP lawmakers said after this happened.

They're right. Biden has made us all less safe with his actions.

But I also had another thought after hearing they were using drones that were going to take hours to get to Israel. That's not exactly the way you do a swift or sneak attack. It gives Israel and the U.S. the heads up to be able to take them out before they even get close.

As Fox's Trey Yingst reported, there are reports from the IDF that there are also missiles; what type is not clear yet. Although, Iran does already appear to have blinked, saying this was all they were going to do.

They can say they've "responded" to the strike on their consulate, but if the drones are intercepted, there might not be a lot of damage and things won't escalate further. We'll have to see how that bears out and what damage comes overnight.
