WH Engages in 'Breathtaking Levels of Gaslighting' on Border Being Overrun

As we reported, there was an incredible scenario on Thursday as illegal aliens stormed the border, ripped down the wire fencing, and ran over the Texas National Guard in the process. Jennie Taer of the NY Post caught the astonishing invasion.

Congress Is Fiddling While America Burns

That shows just how bad it has gotten under Joe Biden despite Texas' valiant efforts to stem the tide.

But when the Biden White House was confronted about the video, their answer was disgusting. They failed to take any responsibility at all for their failures and tried to blame former President Donald Trump.

“We are grateful for Border Patrol’s quick work to get the situation under control and apprehend the migrants,” a White House spokesperson told the Daily Caller.
“When the former President told Congressional Republicans to block the bipartisan border security agreement – he said to blame him for it. Well he got his wish, and the result was chaos after Governor Abbott’s Operational Lone Star and razorwire were overrun yesterday. While we cannot comment on individual cases, anyone who does not have a legal basis to remain in the United States is promptly removed,” the White House spokesperson continued.

At this point, it's getting ridiculous. It's not Trump's fault that Biden won't enforce the laws on the books and Biden is making up excuses regarding a bad bill. It's not Trump's fault that Biden made it all worse by removing everything Trump did to protect the border with executive orders when Biden took office in 2021. It's not Trump's fault that Biden has denied the problem at the border as it's gotten worse over the past three years. It's not Trump's fault that Biden refused to even call it a crisis until this January, that he and his team kept insisting that the border was "secure."

The statement referred to Texas Gov. Abbott's National Guard and razor wire being overrun. At least Texas is trying to do the job that the Biden team is refusing to do. Biden is suing Texas over its efforts to defend Texas and America. So, the administration has no credibility at all with anything it has to say.

The statement also claims that anyone who "does not have a legal basis to remain in the United States is promptly removed." They want you to believe people are deported when most are released into the country.

As Jennie Taer explained, many of these folks were processed and released into the country, even after they were involved in such violence against the National Guard.

That's not on Trump — that's all on Joe Biden. So once again, what the Biden team is telling us is a lot of malarkey. And it shows they don't care about protecting the American people when they say things like this.

And the American people know. That's why Hispanics — and most other Americans — have more faith in Trump in dealing with the border than in Biden.
