Joe Biden had to be pressured by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to even say the name of the young, murdered nursing student Laken Riley at his State of the Union. He hadn't mentioned her name at all since she was murdered, according to police, by an illegal alien who was let into the country under Joe Biden's policies.
Greene gave him a pin with Riley's name on it, encouraging him to say her name. But then, despite the fact he had the pin with her name on it, he still said her name wrong, referring to her as "Lincoln Riley." Then he tried to say he understood what her family felt because he had lost children. But he didn't have any children murdered, allegedly by an illegal alien in a completely preventable act, because the alleged leader of the country wouldn't secure our border.
Democrats' response? Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was upset that Joe Biden used the term "illegal" about the illegal alien, saying he should have used the term "undocumented." That's what her focus was, which was truly insane.

But then when Biden was asked about referring to the man, Jose Ibarra, as "illegal" -- instead of saying yes, he is and what he allegedly did was shameful, he stammered, clearly not knowing what to say. "Technically he's not supposed to be here," Biden said.

Yes, we call that "illegal" here, Joe. But again he caved to the left and even after saying it previously, he couldn't say it here.
Laken Riley's parents had been invited to the SOTU by Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA), but they turned it down because they were grieving. But now, Laken Riley's mom, Allyson Phillips, has weighed in on the controversy and she is understandably not happy.

“Biden does not even KNOW my child’s name – it [sic] pathetic!” Allyson Philips wrote on Facebook.
‘If you are going to say her name (even when forced to do so) at least say the right name!” she continued.
The mother also posted “Amen!’ under a comment referring to Biden as “a disgrace of a president.”
Phillips praised the House for passing the Laken Riley Act which would require ICE to detain people for burglary or theft, like the man who allegedly killed Riley, so that this might have been prevented.
During a trip to the southern border last week, Trump said he spoke with the grieving parents shortly after charges were brought against Ibarra, saying they are 'incredible people' who are 'devastated beyond belief.'
'(Riley) she was beautiful, just so beautiful in so many ways. And brutally assaulted, horrifically beaten, kidnapped and savagely murdered,' he said.
It's so tragic, and it's all because of the policies of Biden. It's left another family heartbroken and without a wonderful young woman.
