WATCH: Dr. Phil Visits the Border and Rips Apart the Failure of Biden, Harris

We had the most illegal aliens ever encountered in December 2023. That's where Joe Biden has led us.

He's left the border in chaos for three years, to get to the point it's at now.

But as I wrote earlier, Texas has shown that simply enforcing the law and securing the border works, according to new stats from Fox's Bill Melugin.

Melugin explained that, because of Texas defense efforts, which include the threat of a real arrest, as well as Mexico taking people off trains who are heading to the border, there are fewer people entering illegally in the Del Rio sector in Texas. That number has dropped from 3-4000 a day in December--to 200 a day.

Now, the illegal aliens are going to Arizona and California to try to come in because they won't face the defense they would get in Texas. That's what a strong defense and deterrence get you.

Attention to the problem is a good thing. Part of the issue is Biden and Kamala Harris haven't been held to public account for any of this yet. We've seen people like Elon Musk regularly tweeting out concerns about the border, helping to spread the issues to a broader audience, which helps to pressure to get change.

Then, Dr. Phil announced a few days ago that he would be going to the border to see for himself, after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott declared it to be an invasion.

On Friday, Dr. Phil went to Eagle Pass, and got a tour of the area by the Texas DPS in a helicopter. Then he did a spot by the border fence, in which he ripped into Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for their failure to secure the border.

Dr. Phil described Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's position. He spoke about how Abbott said that the federal government had broken the pact it had with the states to protect them. Abbott said that not only had Biden refused to enforce the laws, but he'd broken them. He said the result was a humanitarian crisis the likes of which had not been seen before, that wasted taxpayer dollars and "tore open Texas border security infrastructure." McGraw cited DHS saying more than 6 million illegal aliens had come in since Biden occupied the office. Indeed, that number is far higher.

So now, Dr. Phil has spent more time there than Kamala Harris, who never made it to the physical border during her one hit-and-run visit on her way to California. But if even Dr. Phil is saying it, you know how bad it has to be.

That's not going to reverberate well for Biden and Harris in the election
