Cleanup on Aisle Brandon! WH Transcript Tries to Deal With Biden Calling Trump 'Sitting President'

When your people have to keep cleaning up after you because you can't even make simple campaign comments without resulting in multiple stories on the bizarre things you say, you may just have a problem with yourself and your campaign.

That's where we are with Joe Biden right now. How many stories have I written about the bizarre and concerning things he said in South Carolina? This is the fifth. That's a problem for Biden and a problem for the country that he's allegedly in charge of.

But as I reported, even Biden doesn't seem to know who is in charge.

The White House transcript had to do some cleanup for Joe and explain what it was that he was supposed to say but didn't. They also tried to fill in his unintelligible, slurred part of the comment that I wasn't able to decipher, "As they say in my faith..."

Did you see what he recently said about that wants to — that he wants to see the economy crash this year? A ~~sitting~~ [former] President. As they say in my faith, “Bless me, Father, for…” — (the President begins to makes the sign of the cross). I mean, come on, man. (Laughter.)

They also had to clean up other things.

Now, maybe Donald Trump and his MAGA friends believe that they have — they — to — you have to hold us down to lift ~~everybody else~~ [themselves] up.

And:

And here’s what it did. It helped cut Black poverty in half for Black children in America. (Applause.) Because no child in America should ever go ~~hunger~~ [hungry] — ever.

When you have to keep filling in just for basic clarity, that's not a sustainable proposition if he's supposed to be running for election. It's troubling here that people laugh and just accept what he says here. But that's probably a curated audience for him. All the other Americans seeing this know there's a big problem.

What must our enemies think when they see things like this? I guess we know the answer to that from "Iranian proxies" (read: Iran) suspected of being behind the attack on our forces in Jordan.
