Keith Olbermann Gets Gloriously Eviscerated by Outkick's David Hookstead

Mark J. Terrill

Keith Olbermann is a sad, sad man, and if he had an ounce of care for his fellow man who thought differently than him, I might feel a little sorry for his sad life. He hasn't been relevant in such a long time and all he does now is whine on X and on a podcast.

But he's such a nasty person that it's hard to feel sorry for him.

He tends to inset himself in things he doesn't understand and is generally horribly wrong in whatever he has to say.

Our friends over at our sister site Twitchy observed that Olbermann tried to take a whack at David Hookstead, who works for Outkick Media. Hookstead sometimes posts pranky things, and Olbermann didn't seem to understand that.

Hookstead was apparently trying to get "D-Day" to trend, and he tweeted about D-Day and the weather. He wrote on Outkick how it was part of a troll.

I also successfully pulled off another classic D-Day troll. I’ve managed to get D-Day to be a top trending topic twice in my life. I attempted to go for the trifecta. That didn’t happen, but it still went mega-viral. Shoutout to everyone telling me to watch “Band of Brothers.” Hadn’t heard of it before!

Now, I'm not sure why what Hookstead said managed to draw Olbermann out of his cave or why he should care. He didn't seem to understand the troll going on.  If you'll recall, when last we left Keith, he was supposed to be fleeing X because of the evil Elon Musk. But no surprise to anyone, Olbermann is still on X, unable to leave a place that allows him to pontificate.

He's like so many Democrats, whining about the platform and threatening to leave but then they never do what they promise.

But Olbermann is a pouty, unhappy character. So he fired off something nasty.

Warning for graphic language:

"Enjoying the story of you sh***ing yourself about D-Day," Olbermann said.

But I don't think he was prepared for what came next from Hookstead. This is one heck of an evisceration and I think Hookstead spoke for many on their opinion of the execrable Olbermann.

Keith, you're 64 with no family who loves you, your career crashed during the Obama administration and you now scream into an iPhone camera.I'm 31 with a major role at a massive media company, own a real estate company and I'm not lonely and isolated like you. Good luck!

He capped off the verbal murder with this picture.

Now that's a thing of beauty.
