Since Poland is a NATO nation, if this is considered an "attack," then the U.S. could be required to come to its defense under the NATO agreement.
Russia targeted Ukraine with 158 drones and missiles overnight, aiming for critical infrastructure, industry and military facilities, the Ukrainian military said.
If it was a missile, it's not clear yet where it landed. They're searching but they haven't found it yet, and there have been no casualties reported.
There was a similar missile that hit near Przewodow in southern Poland in November 2022, but while that didn't lead to NATO involvement, also did raise serious concerns at the time.
