Fox Finally Comes out With New Lineup (but They Can't Erase Tucker Carlson)

Fox News Channel is finally out with what it will do with its schedule since it “parted ways” with Tucker Carlson in April.

The network has been rotating people in the 8 p.m. Carlson slot with many questions about what they would be doing for a more permanent replacement.

Now the word is officially in from Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott on what their new line-up is going to be, starting July 17.

“The Ingraham Angle” with Laura Ingraham will kick things off at 7 p.m. ET, followed by “Jesse Waters Primetime” shifting to 8 p.m. ET, “Hannity” will remain at 9 p.m. ET and “Gutfeld!” will begin at 10 p.m. ET.

“FOX News Channel has been America’s destination for news and analysis for more than 21 years and we are thrilled to debut a new lineup. The unique perspectives of Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters, Sean Hannity, and Greg Gutfeld will ensure our viewers have access to unrivaled coverage from our best-in-class team for years to come,” Scott announced.

Trace Gallagher will finish the night at 11 p.m. They also praised all their people as they spoke about the new lineup.

Watters and Gutfeld will continue to host “The Five” in addition to their other shows.

Is this going to help them recover after what they did in cutting Tucker Carlson? I don’t think so. People may like some of those other hosts, but it’s hard to replace Tucker Carlson, and the way it went down is still sitting badly with the viewers. They aren’t going to forgive so easily.

We’ve seen Fox’s ratings take a dive since then. We’ve even seen them tumble out of first place after 120 weeks, where the average viewership for MSNBC for the primetime hours beat out Fox’s average viewership in the middle of June.

They aren’t going to help themselves with the latest news that they are allegedly demanding that “all images and video of Tucker Carlson,” along with “violent crime scene footage that included guns or shootings,” be removed from an advertisement for Republican presidential hopeful and Mayor of Miami Francis Suarez before the network would run it. That’s not going to endear them with the former viewers, either.

What’s funny on top of that is Tucker Carlson launched his own Twitter show that is smoking Fox in the numbers. Fox has filed a cease and desist order since they claim Carlson is still under contract with them. But Carlson claims that they are the ones in breach. Meanwhile, his Twitter show is raking in millions of views, far more than anything on Fox, opining on topics like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Hunter Biden plea deal. The word is that even former staffers are jumping ship from Fox to go to join Tucker, whatever he may do next, which can’t make Fox happy.

Fox can bring in its new lineup. It can try to erase Tucker Carlson and how everything went down. But it isn’t going to work, and the American people aren’t going to forget anytime soon.
