Nancy Pelosi Gets Heckled in San Francisco, Her Response Is Ridiculous

People have a lot of expectations of the new Congress. We’ve already seen some action including forming the Weaponization Committee and starting to investigate Joe Biden as part of the Oversight Committee, as well as booting Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) off the House Intelligence Committee and Rep. Ilham Omar (D-MN) off the Foreign Affairs Committee.

But there’s also something else that this change has brought that’s one of the best things — the muting of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). Notice once she was fired, she seemed to disappear into the wind. No longer were we forced to listen to her constant bleats about how she was making all kinds of despicable policy decisions that harmed Americans “for the children.” That, in and of itself, is a beautiful and positive thing.

What’s going on with Pelosi, now that she has been shunted to the side?

There’s a video going viral of her getting shouted at in San Francisco. A man asks her why they’re giving $150 billion to Ukraine while there are so many homeless on the streets in San Francisco.

He also asks her for “stock tips” for semiconductors in Taiwan and if her son was involved with Hunter Biden.

I’m not sure whether he just left or her people helped him to the exit.

Now, I’m not a fan of yelling at officials in restaurants. I’ve said that in the past when it comes to leftists harassing Republicans in restaurants, although those are some interesting questions. I would note however that Pelosi seemed to think that protesting Supreme Court members in their homes was just peachy keen, even encouraging such protest.

But the real kicker here was her response, which was a bit hard to hear. It’s “about your freedom,” Pelosi claimed in reply to the Ukraine question. That’s like it’s “for the children” — it’s the catch-all excuse when you want to shove things through without giving any real answers. Meanwhile, there’s a never-ending stream of our money pouring out while we have an endless string of issues in this country that are not being addressed, that are indeed caused, in part, by the bad policies of the Democrats. It’s never about “our freedom” — it’s always about their power.

I’m not sure what she was doing there having a drink, apparently sitting alone. There appeared to be a professional photographer there taking pictures of her. But the whole situation seemed a rather pathetic tableau, sitting at a table drinking by herself while Republicans are in charge. The fact that she no longer has the power to be so harmful, wrapped up all in one picture.
