Fetterman's Explanation for Why He's Against Voter ID Sounds Just a Little Bit Racist

The more Pennsylvania voters see John Fetterman, the more they will realize that he’s not the person they want to represent them because he has a lot of issues and his views are so extreme.

Fetterman lived off his parents until late into his forties, not having a job that would pay for his own support. He’s also attacked the energy industry — a vital industry in Pennsylvania — calling for banning fracking in the past.

As we previously reported, he has some very concerning views on criminals. He was previously asked if he could wave a magic wand and fix one thing, the thing he came up with was doing away with life without parole for murderers. Imagine anyone responding with that if you could fix one thing in all the world. On top of that, he said that he agreed that if one-third of all prisoners were let out of prison that wouldn’t endanger anyone. That’s clueless beyond belief.

But now his explanation for why he is against voter ID is just a little racist, not to mention ignorant. Fetterman says he opposes voter ID laws because “the poor and people of color are less likely to have their ID at any one given time.”

He continues here to say he’s “horrified” by that because it will adversely impact people of color.

Why do Democrats like Fetterman think that people of color are unable to get IDs? It’s an insulting and ridiculous statement. And apparently, if you are poor, you’re unable to figure things out too. You need an ID for so many things, from driving to even getting vaccinated (Democrats don’t seem to object to requiring ID for that). But it’s prevalent among people on the left. Listen as some of the people in this video explain their thinking and it just screams propaganda and ignorance.

People all over the world are required to have IDs to vote to guard against cheating, but it’s only Democrats in this country who seem to have a problem with it and push nonsensical arguments against it.

In a poll last year, 74 percent of Pennsylvanians said that voters should be required to show ID at the polls, 81 percent want signature verification as well. So Fetterman is once again an extremist on this issue when you look at what most people in Pennsylvania think.

I’m thinking maybe it’s not the best way to get people to vote for you when you insult them like this.

Just a reminder, Fetterman is the same guy who pulled a shotgun out with a black jogger back in 2013.
