We see the Democrats and the liberal media still talking about the riot on Jan. 6 — a year-and-a-half later — and trying to use it to hurt their political opponents.
Yet, they don’t have the same reaction to increasingly violent, pro-abortion actions that have included firebombing pregnancy and pro-life centers, as well as vandalizing churches. The latest incident appears to be yet another firebombing (you have to read deep into the story by The Guardian to understand it’s a firebombing, but at least they covered it and they didn’t call it that) in Portland, Oregon, at the Gresham Pregnancy Resource Center. Fortunately, the damage appeared confined to one room where the incendiary device was thrown. Yet many of these incidents are being ignored by the national news. Pro-abortion people claim they are for “choice,” but they don’t want these centers to offer any other “choice.”
The assassination attempt against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was four days ago, yet for many in the media, it was a one-day story–if they covered it–and “mostly below the fold,” when you would think it would be a major story, particularly given that the assailant claimed he was motivated by his pro-abortion views.
Notice it below the fold in the New York Times, and Jan. 6 is above the fold, prominently featured.

As Bill Maher observed in his latest show, it’s about whether it serves their narrative. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t lead or it goes away.
“The New York Times buried this. If this had been a liberal Supreme Court justice that someone came to kill, it would’ve been on the front page…They wear their bias on their sleeves and if it’s not part of something that feeds our narrative, fuck it” – @BillMaher #RealTime pic.twitter.com/0amc13ddlf

“The New York Times buried this,” Maher said. “If this had been a liberal Supreme Court justice that someone came to kill, it would have been on the front page.”
“And that’s what’s so disappointing about a paper like The New York Times because they just wear their bias on their sleeves, and if it’s not part of something that feeds our narrative, f— it, we bury it,” Maher added.
Maher also had some tough words for Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer for his threatening speech toward the justices in 2020.
How about the Sunday shows? Was there anything on there? Usually, that’s the time they sometimes have deeper discussions of issues and invite lawmakers on for comment. But, not so much here. If they don’t feature it, maybe people will forget that the guy was pro-abortion and targeting a justice because of the leaked decision. Can’t have a left-wing person highlighted.

CNN was going with the continuing coverage of Jan. 6.

Fox did cover it, with Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) trying to claim that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s (D-NY) threats against the justices weren’t threats but President Donald Trump saying act “peacefully” was.
But this does say a lot about Democrats and liberal media, how they have no shame–it’s all about the political point to them.
