Project Veritas is out with a new video and it shows just how important it is for Elon Musk to take over and bring back a little sanity. It’s an eyebrow-raising look into how far left the people behind the switches are and how that has resulted in censorship on the platform.

Senior Twitter engineer Siru Murugesan was the man caught on video. Murugesan confessed that the platform was “censoring the right” and that the workers were “Commie as f**k” noting that some were “super left, left, left, left, left.”

Murugesan indicated it wasn’t just a question of attitude, that they were biased in their actions as well. “We’re actually censoring the right, and not the left,” the engineer was recorded saying, later adding: “It’s true. There is bias. It is what it is today.” He said that people on the right were more tolerant of speech and so were not complaining whereas the left was more intolerant. They’d say they wouldn’t tolerate things or they’d quit the platform, so Twitter was essentially catering more to them. He said he wasn’t sure the two sides could coexist together on the platform and that with Musk on the horizon, the right was coming back to the platform while some on the left were leaving.

Murugesan said that “Twitter does not believe in free speech” and that the employees were all in a panic over Elon Musk taking over because he does believe in free speech and many were threatening to quit.

“Our jobs are at stake — he’s a capitalist, and we weren’t really operating as capitalists, more like very socialist,” Murugesan said. “We’re all like Commie as f–k.”

“‘I think it’s just like the environment, like you’re there and you become like this Commie — they call it ‘Commifornia,’” he said of staffers’ nickname for woke California.

Murugesan’s description of their work ethic is madness. He said that at Twitter, “essentially everyone gets to do whatever they want” and “mental health” is the most important thing.

“If you’re not feeling it, you can take a few days off,” he was recorded saying. “People have taken months off.”

“I basically went to work like four hours a week last quarter,” he added. “And it’s just how it works in our company.”

That’s another reason they fear a “capitalist” or someone who runs Twitter like a business rather than like a socialist fun camp for the woke. Elon has already indicated that their work ethic is going to change when he comes in — that he’s going to fire a lot of people and cut back on salaries of the board.

Murugesan himself seemed to have had a realization that he needed to work more to get promoted to be able to get more money to deal with the inflation. So even while he talked about the socialist nature of the work environment he realized he needed to do more to provide for himself.

Not surprisingly, Twitter isn’t commenting on what Murugesan said. It would be hard to refute what he’s saying because we’ve seen it daily. But it’s good to have the admission on tape. I suspect that when Musk finally comes in, he’s going to see a lot of the censorship that has been going on behind the scenes if they don’t try to bury it all. But even if they do, it sounds like their jobs are on borrowed time.
