Bird Appears to Poop on Biden in Iowa - and That Was the High Point

Joe Biden was in Menlo, Iowa to talk about what he was supposedly doing to bring down gas prices and inflation.

Biden announced that, instead of more drilling or dropping some of his anti-energy restrictions on oil production, he was going to allow an E15 blend — an ethanol blend — that is usually banned in the summer because of its air pollution concerns. We mentioned this was coming in another story earlier. That’s his “big” announcement to help lower gas prices. So that’s likely not only not to satisfy folks on the right, but also to antagonize people on the left. It’s not clear how much this would do anything given that there’s a limited number of places that can do this.

The impact on gas prices remains to be seen. Compared with E10 gas, there is limited infrastructure to sell E15 gasoline because not all vendors are willing to invest in a product that cannot be sold year-round.

But truthfully, it was hard to understand a lot of what he was trying to say, because he rambled so much, with no coherent core for much of his remarks. Fox cut away from it at a certain point, maybe because it was hard to keep straight what he was trying to say apart from the ethanol claim.

He started unintelligibly, referencing the local member of Congress, Cynthia Axne, who he said he worked for and who he called “Congressman.”

That’s what happens when no one in his administration can identify what a woman is — they have that confusion even over that basic fact.

Biden falsely blamed the rise in gas prices on “Putin’s price hike,” but prices were high already before the war. Of course, that hasn’t stopped Biden from continuing to lie about it.

But he got a message from what looked like a bird. He said he was talking in a “barn” but it appeared, at one point, that a bird pooped on him. Watch his left shoulder closely at about :12 of the video.

It’s even more obvious here:

Talk about an apropos take on the Biden policies — I’m not sure I’ve seen something more on point.

Then Biden went off on Vladimir Putin in some rant that made no sense, asserting the “permafrost was burning.” Now, maybe this was supposed to be hyperbole, but it didn’t make a lot of sense.

At another point, he leaned so close to the microphone, he caused it to whine on the Fox broadcast I was watching. This doesn’t pick that up, but you can see him doing that weird whispering thing again.

Finally, he got down to the real problem with what he was saying — he had nothing to offer anyone that was going to make any real long-term difference, he was mostly just rehashing the same old lies and things. As he admitted, he was even boring himself.

This is the reality of where Biden has left us and it’s hard for him to spin around it. He’s at the highest inflation rate since 1981 and it’s across the board on everything.

One Twitter user summed it up for the rural area in Iowa, speaking for all of us.
