The reign of terror in Afghanistan has begun.

Reports now are that the Taliban are searching for anyone who worked for the Americans, according to Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin.

“The Taliban are going door to door, looking for those who have worked with, had fought alongside the Americans, and they are looking already for retribution. There are terrified people, cowering in their houses, trying to destroy any evidence that they had worked with the Americans.”

They’re also looking for journalists. Two journalists who are on the ground there and in danger themselves reported what the Taliban were doing.

“Taliban fighters going door-to-door in #Kabul, looking for government employees, soldiers and police, and Afghans who worked with foreign govts and NGOs, several residents tell me,” one said. “Some have been taken away, family members say. In other cases, houses have been searched and documents/weapons confiscated. Taliban also recording names/addresses.”

“Taliban started door to door search looking for govt officials, former police & security forces members & those who worked for foreign countries NGOs or infrastructures in Afghanistan. At least 3 journalists’ houses were searched in the last hour. Kabul is now becoming deadly,” another tweeted. “This is a game-changer for us all. Many have started counting their final hours of life in Kabul. Nobody knows what happens next. Pray for us.”

There are reports of the U.S. still working to evacuate some of the people. But many people, including Americans, are now trapped behind enemy lines and not able to get to the last spot where there are still American troops — at the airport.

There are also reports of public executions starting again.

This is an incredible failure to help the people who helped us when we needed them. We had ample time to get them out but Biden couldn’t get himself to care enough to get it done before now. This is horrible for the future if we want anyone to ever help us again.

This is not going to end well. The reign of terror has begun.
