Folks on the left want to put Caitlyn Jenner in a box on what Jenner should believe in. It’s the way they do everything with identity politics.
Everything is based upon your race, sex or group identity and you must comply with the Democratic narrative according to your “group.”
So Democrats were thrown off a bit when Jenner, who just announced a run against Gov. Gavin Newsom, was asked on a morning coffee run by TMZ whether or not biological men should be able to compete in women’s sports. Jenner, who is trans and who won gold in the Olympic decathlon in 1976, caught them off guard with an answer they didn’t anticipate.
Caitlyn Jenner: “It’s a question of fairness. I oppose biological boys who are ttans competing in girls sports in school. It just isn’t fair, and we have to protect girls sports.” pic.twitter.com/jioEC3K97y

“It’s a question of fairness,” Jenner said. “That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls sports in school. It just isn’t fair, and we have to protect girls sports.”
Jenner reaffirmed that position later in a tweet.
I didn’t expect to get asked this on my Saturday morning coffee run, but I’m clear about where I stand. It’s an issue of fairness and we need to protect girls’ sports in our schools.https://t.co/YODLDQ3csP

Jenner is Republican and that thought is fairly consistent with a lot of Republican thought on the issue and concern for girls’ sports. So the answer is not surprising that Jenner might think that, except to folks on the left.
Indeed, it’s not just Republican thought. Over 54% of people nationwide believe that biological boys should not be allowed to compete in girls’ sports for the same reason.
But folks on the left definitely flipped out over Jenner’s remarks, claiming that being fair to girls was being “anti-trans.”
She’s a monster. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. https://t.co/SjkQ1fFndi

Caitlyn Jenner is anti-trans. She doesn’t understand the science, and she is pandering to the ignorance of anti-trans people. I have absolutely no problem saying Caitlyn Jenner supports and directly benefits from transphobia. https://t.co/wWZcUTPqj6

Rescind Caitlyn Jenner’s 2015 Arthur Ashe Courage Award
In 2015 she urged celebs & athletes to promote acceptance of transgender people for who they are
Jenner said, “Trans people deserve something vital. They deserve your respect”

Why @Caitlyn_Jenner is attacking trans kids right now is beyond me… https://t.co/rGnZbMAF9j

Translation: how dare Jenner not think as we do!
Let’s turn that around. The folks attacking Jenner claim to care about women’s rights. Except how can that be when they don’t seem to care about the girls who are suffering at a disadvantage in girls’ sports? They just want to dismiss that as though it doesn’t exist. So does that mean they are anti-girl or anti-women? It surely sounds like it.
