Twitter Flags Tim Pool Tweet About TIME Story, Wouldn't Allow Retweets or Likes

As we reported earlier, TIME Magazine published an astonishing story called “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign that Saved the 2020 Election” in which they reported there was “a well-funded cabal of powerful people” working together behind the scenes “to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media and control the flow of information” to sway the election.

My colleagues Jennifer Oliver O’Connell and Jeff Charles also wrote on the story here and here.

But apparently Twitter now doesn’t like people tweeting about this story which reveals so much.

Journalist Tim Pool tweeted about the story but then his tweet was flagged with a warning: “This claim of election fraud is disputed, and this Tweet can’t be replied to, Retweeted, or liked due to a risk of violence.”

Pool pointed out what he said was truthfully repeating what TIME reported, so now it wasn’t “disputed.”

Notice the framing, they want to use Jan. 6 to ban or cut down any comment or question.

Funny how also they didn’t go after the TIME story, TIME being a good liberal magazine. Just the comments about it. Why isn’t the TIME story flagged if Pool’s tweet is? And how is there a “risk of violence” from repeating what TIME said? See the insanity that we are reaching into at this point with how they’re reacting.

By the way what’s the proof that this would “risk violence?” And what about the ton of tweets on the left that outright encourage violence or targeted harassment but are not flagged at all including fanning the flames by Democratic politicians like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who encouraged violence against federal agents by calling them stormtroopers and falsely claiming they were kidnapping people?

But while they’re not blocking the TIME URL likely because they know that would cause a more likely backlash, after the Hunter Biden story debacle they faced, they’re going to inhibit your ability to spread comment about the story like this suggesting that somehow there would be a danger from doing so.

But the thing is when they do things like this, they prove the TIME article is true, even now. Here there’s still an effort to try to control the narrative about what happened. They’re just trying to “fortify” the election and now they’re “fortifying” Pool’s statement.
