For years now, really starting in October of 2016, Democrats tried to suggest that President Donald Trump was somehow some sort of agent of Russia. That of course was debunked by the Mueller report. But there are still thousands of folks on the left that fell for that bunk that Democrats and specifically Hillary Clinton paid to help spread. They have never been held accountable, even now, for the things they did to divide this country. Indeed even this October, Hillary Clinton was still claiming that Trump was an “illegitimate” president and making intimations about Russia.
But one of the people who pressed the false claim of Russia collusion was Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA). Then it was revealed that he had had a continuing relationship with a woman who was alleged to be a Chinese spy. Now you would have thought, given the Democrats’ four years of uproar over the false claims about Donald Trump that the actual facts concerning the effort to compromise Swalwell might have concerned the Democrats and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
But that would require them not to be hypocritical and to actually care about America’s security, a subject that they seem to let go by the wayside unless it involves somehow consolidating their own control.
Just one month after the revelations about Swalwell and the Chinese spy came to light, Pelosi has just reappointed him back on the Homeland Security Committee. He’s also on the House Intel Committee and the House Judiciary Committee. So the three of most important and sensitive ones you could have. Plus he was also named an impeachment manager. It looks like she actually rewarded him rather than penalized him for his relationship with a spy.
Swalwell said his focus would be on the threat of “white supremacists.” Well, of course, because why should it be on China who has so previously harmed us with their actions, right? Swalwell claimed that his “experience as a prosecutor and as the son and brother of law enforcement officers — will give me a unique opportunity to delve into one of America’s most serious national security threats.”

Um, how did that help you figure out you were with a Chinese spy? Just saying. Swalwell has also still refused to come clean about the depth of his relationship with the spy, refusing to answer as to whether he slept with her. So that really doesn’t inspire a heck of a lot of confidence in the man.
Pelosi refused to pay attention to the concerns expressed about Swalwell being compromised, saying Democrats would “Build Back Better”(oh, goodie, Biden and Great Reset Language) and that her appointments would be “relentless” to “combat disparities in our economy and country and to advance justice and progress for The People.”
But she isn’t even relentless enough to remove a compromised person from vitally important committees. And Swalwell wasn’t the only Democrat who has a long-term relationship with an alleged spy. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) had a staff member for twenty years, who had been her driver for years, who was a Chinese spy. She was also the head or ranking member in those years of similarly important and critical committees. The spy even stood in for her at a local event.
In days gone by, not only would he have been booted, he would have had to resign. Now, being with a spy gets you rewarded by the Democrats.
China gets what China wants – Swalwell back in the saddle!

Eric Swalwell does not have the judgement necessary to serve on an intelligence community focused oversight committee or to have access to highly classified information. https://t.co/uOFhDuvN6L
